ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In compliance with the provisions of Article 18 of Law no. 144/2015, of 8 September, in its current wording, we inform all our customers that, in the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may turn to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity.

The alternative dispute resolution entity with jurisdiction over the geographical area of Penafiel is the CICAP – Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto (Consumer Arbitration Tribunal).

What is Alternative Dispute Resolution?
It is a mechanism that allows all consumers to turn to official entities for assistance in resolving or mediating a conflict with a company before taking legal action through the courts. As a rule, the process is faster, less formal, and more cost-effective.
